Mr. John Dyett is a founder of Salem Partners and Salem Partners Wealth Management, where he serves on its investment committee. John leads Salem Partners’ life sciences efforts, having raised more than $500 million in equity and completed multiple mergers and acquisitions for clients. Recently, John helped launch ZS Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing non-absorbed drugs for renal, cardiovascular, hepatic and metabolic diseases. ZS Pharma completed a successful initial public offering in 2014 and was subsequently purchased by AstraZeneca plc. Prior to founding Salem Partners, John was a banker with Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co., Inc., and Needham and Co., Inc.  John is a graduate in government and economics from Harvard University.
