Mr. Benjamin Qiu is a Partner at Advantech Capital. An experienced investment professional with more than 20 years of expertise in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, Benjamin has led or co-led the closing of more than 10 deals. Some of his prominent transactions include the formation of innovative pharmaceutical, medical device and biological research and development companies, as well as chains of private mental health service providers and dental care providers within China. Previously, Benjamin worked at GL Capital, a healthcare-dedicated investment fund, where he led multiple deals. He also was a founding member of the PwC Healthcare Advisory Team and a business analyst at Vancouver General Hospital. Benjamin holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Eastern China University of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of British Columbia.
